I Commented At The Huff-Po… And This Is What I Learned.

The following is a comment I made responding to this comment on this article.

“It’s okay, I’ve been there, but when you’re wise like ME then you’ll understand.” What a load. Empty platitudes and such. Just read the comments here. This whole article was about who the ‘progressives’ can fight back. But what exactly are you fighting against? The vague retorts (like your comment) hinting at wisdom that isn’t explained are nothing more than a calming sedative to the indoctrinated. A mandate not to question, not to try to understand. An assurance that they are on the right side of history, even if they don’t understand their opposition, and that they don’t need to. When you can tell me WHY something is wrong instead of just claiming THAT it is wrong, then you’ll have made an argument. Until then, there’s really nothing to respond to because there’s really nothing there.

I made another comment that got rejected because I talked about the ways in which the article misrepresented the Tea Party movement, but of course that comment didn’t get approved. Basically it appears as if the Huffington Post is (shocking) bias in favor of Statist economics. you always hear that this station or that paper are bias, but it’s best to check it out for yourself. It just turns out that, well common knowledge was pretty much dead on with this one.

Oh and here’s an unrelated interesting video about Google search and Islam.
